The Hooks FFA is holding its annual auction in the Hooks Gym at 6:00 P.M. on May 9. Every year, the members of Hooks FFA work hard, weeks in advance, on projects they build for the auction.
“The ag students, myself included, have put forth many hours preparing projects for the auction. We have also talked to many local businesses about donations.”
Alongside this, these members are assigned businesses to collect donations from. These donations could come from that business or be items the students purchase for the auction. On the day of the auction, the finished projects as well as the collected donations are auctioned off.
A few months before the auction, Hooks FFA members are given raffle tickets; winners will be drawn at the auction. You can win three F1 heifers or $3,000 in cash instead. You can buy one of these tickets for $20 from an FFA member.
