On Saturday August 27th, our agriculture department hosted the “Summer Blowout” show in the agriculture barn. There were multiple shows, including: small animals, which featured pigs and goats, and the cow shows. The cow shows featured heifers, steers, and bulls.

“It was a good turnout on Saturday. We had 170 entries and I won a buckle,” sophomore Jaci Fisher said.

There were many prizes, including: belt buckles, canopies, a set of clippers, and Aztec logo bags. The next upcoming show is at the Four States Fair show grounds.

“I’m very excited to go to Four States,” ag teacher Stephanie Loe said. “I’m sure we’re going to do very well in it.”
