On Thursday, November 3rd, HHS seniors will attend a preview day at Southern Arkansas University (SAU) in Magnolia, Arkansas. College preview days are free and allow students to visit campus’, learn about opportunities, and often receive free swag. Students must also have their permission slips signed in order to attend.

Hooks seniors were invited to tour the campus as a school, but each student will tour the area they are interested in for their major. Staff members may also attend, but have to register online beforehand.

“I am very excited. I love going there and even seeing some of our former students,” Senior class sponsor Shanin Starrett said. “The trip allows seniors to see if they might be interested in going to a college a little closer to home.”
