Treating the Community
November 1, 2021
Hooks community and high school organizations, like NHS, Student Council, Mu Alpha Theta, different churches, FFA, and the cheerleaders, handed out candy and food to the people of the community at the Trunk or Treat. This was held at the field house parking lot on Sunday, October 31st.
“It was really exciting to get to serve the community and be able to make the kids happy. I’m glad I got to work with my friends and share our experience serving others,” junior Hallie Hackett said.
This year’s Trunk or Treat turned out to be the biggest one yet. The high school alone donated around 266 bags of candy. Next year’s goal is to have an even bigger event.
