ACE adds new programs
March 9, 2022
To give students more variety, the ACE program continues to add new activities, now including driver’s ed, Monday-Thursday after school from 3:35 to 6:15 in the café. To sign up, students need to visit the office or sign in at the café.
“I will do any activity a student wants if presented to me clearly,” ACE coordinator Mr. Adcock said.
The starting date for driver’s ed has yet to be determined. Once driver’s ed starts, students will be learning using the program called Aceable. Many students at our high school are looking forward to these new activities. This is an opportunity for our students to get help without extra transportation or fees.
“I really like the new ace program because it offers you more activities. It could be very helpful for students learning to drive, and they provide food,” sophomore Alex Gomez said.
More activities provided by ACE include help with homework, time to socialize with friends after school, cooking club, board games, video games, arts and crafts, choir, rug making, a forever fit class, and the You Matter Club. These are all reasons as to why ACE is a great program for our high school students.
