Hidden Figures is a movie about three African American women—Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan, and Mary Jackson—who worked at NASA in the 1960s. Even though they faced racism and sexism, they proved how smart and capable they were by helping send John Glenn into space.
The acting is very strong, and the movie does a good job of showing what life was like during segregation. You really get to see the struggles they went through, but also how determined they were to succeed. That’s what makes the story so inspiring.
Overall, I think Hidden Figures is an amazing movie because it shows the importance of never giving up and breaking barriers. I’d give it a 10/10 and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys history or inspiring stories.
