The Hooks Hornets faced off against the Redwater Dragons on Friday, January 31st, at the Hive.
The Hornets started off strong in the first quarter, putting up a good amount of points and staying ahead of the Dragons for the entire first half by making amazing plays and taking accurate and precise shots.
“We stayed strong and made great progress, staying a couple of steps ahead of them,” Varsity Guard Fabean Grigsby said.
The Hornets were on their front foot, playing aggressively. They scored again and again. Unfortunately for both teams involved, the game was forced to end early.
“I’m glad we won and I’m ready for playoffs,” Varsity Shooting Guard Jamarion Jackson said
