Ms. Jester, who is our campus secretary as well as our registrar and attendance clerk, graduated from Grand Canyon University with a business degree in health administration. When she was a child, she wanted to be an assassin because she wanted to save our community from the criminals of our world. After that, she wanted to work as a counselor, but she didn’t like the classes, so she decided to discontinue the path she was on. Her final choice was to end up here at Hooks, and her favorite part about being here is that she can help children who need her assistance.
In her eyes, time management is her biggest issue because she has two children who are involved in everything school-related. Ms. Jester decided to work for the school because it matches her children’s schedule. She is a single mom and doesn’t have a babysitter; therefore, she needs to be out when they’re out.
Ms. Jester says it’s difficult to maintain a job while going to college because she stays up at night in order to get her master’s in health administration. She still does her best to make the community a better place since she has been at Hooks almost her entire life. Although she has moved away a couple of times, she always came back, but she claims that she is ready to move again.
Ms. Jester’s favorite quote to share is, “I always have time,” since she does her best to make room for other people who need it most.
