Senior Karli Hooks is a transfer student from New Boston who has recently joined us here at Hooks, finishing her senior year off as a Hornet! Following her Ag teacher, Mrs. Duke, after she joined us in August, Karli has hope for a great senior year here at Hooks.
Karli is active in Hooks FFA’s show team, where she travels to show her last heifer, Gracie, at competitions. Outside of school, her hobbies include hanging out with friends, drawing, and participating in many outdoor activities. After high school, Karli plans on attending Wyotech in Laramie, Wyoming, for Fabrication and Collision.
“After completing school, I will go wherever the wind takes me. I’m not a fan of sticking to a plan,” Hooks said. “I love making spontaneous decisions about life because you only live once. Might as well live it to the fullest.”
A fun fact about Karli is that her family history dates back to when the town was founded in 1830!
