Joining his mother as a Hooks hornet, Mr. Victor Powell is a new sub at HHS. He graduated from Texarkana Community College in 2019, and is currently in an online culinary school. Powell chose to become a substitute due to Mrs. Shannon’s guidance.
“Mrs. Shannon suggested that it would be a good start to a career,” Powell said.
The best advice Powell has for students who have him as a sub, is to be respectful and keep the volume at an “inside voice” level. Powell is a great addition to the high school staff, and is excited to have joined the HHS family.
