Football, cheer, and band held their Senior Night on Friday, October 27th, at 6:20 p.m. on the football field. It is tradition for Senior Night to be held on the last home game of the season.
Seniors began lining up for name calls on the track between 6:00-6:10 p.m. The names were called in the following order: football players first, band members second, and cheerleaders last. Afterwards, everyone was required to be off the track by 6:50, so that the game against Dekalb could start.
The senior football players included: Keyshawn Walls, Jatavious (Boogie) Johnson, Logan Baker, Trayvon Johnson, Daniel Godfrey, Damian “Chito” Vasquez, River McCoy, Emmanuel Baird, Carveion Johnson, Braiden Doyle, Kobe Ewing, Kason Choate, Tamarion Smith, and Ranson Jones.
The senior band members included: Jonathan Tinajero Juarez, Daphney DeSantiago, Slayton Batts, Carson Hill, Isaac Piazza, Arlo Jones, Brenton Taylor, Meagan Autrey, Hailee Hill, Rachel Tyree, and Ely Bates.
Finally, the senior cheerleaders included: Ely Bates, Jaidyn Henderson, Lauren Murray, Alee Winniford, and Marleigh Smith. While Hooks will be sad to lose these talented groups of seniors, it is certain their futures will be bright.
