The Hooks ISD counselor webpage presents several scholarship opportunities. All you have to do is click on the scholarship link icon. The link brings you to a list of scholarships available that anyone can apply for.

Seniors should visit the scholarship page on the website so they can APPLY and get a chance at FREE money. Though, it is also beneficial for underclassmen to check out those applications as well. Certain scholarships are no-essay. All you have to do is read the requirements and apply! Many may require a short essay. Also, remember to check your college/university for scholarships that they offer. Check out the eligibility requirements for each scholarship!

Community service hours are a great way to earn the top of the candidate list for a scholarship. All of the organizations that you are involved in will matter and make a difference. Looking at scholarships earlier than senior year gives students an idea of what leadership and community service experience they need to start building for future scholarship applications to ensure success.
