HHS senior Gwen Cannon and sophomore Colby Houff received a perfect EOC score last spring, and will be recognized for that accomplishment at tonight’s board meeting, starting at 7 p.m. in the admin building.

Cannon received a 100 on the US History EOC and Houff a 100 on the Algebra 1 EOC. Reaching a perfect EOC score is not a simple task, in fact, very few students meet this standard. Thanks to their hard work and the academic preparation from HHS teachers, these students were able to pull it off.

“Each year less than one percent of students statewide score 100%.  I am proud that we honor these students,” Principal Beverly Shannon said. “I would also like to add that we have a high percentage of students that meet mastery and come close.”
