The Hooks Hornets JV and Varsity football teams will play against Harmony this week. The JV will play at home, starting tonight at 5:30, and the Varsity will play at Harmony tomorrow at 7:30. 

The teams have been practicing since August to prepare for their first round of games. Freshman Travalyn Aldridge, JV Defensive Line, will be playing his first game tonight.

“Practices are sometimes hard, but I feel ready,” Aldridge said.

The Varsity team includes many veteran players, including Junior Boogie Johnson, Free Safety and Wide Receiver, who has high hopes for the season.  

“[My goal is to] win 16 games and get 1500 yards for my season, but 3 touchdowns against Harmony [in this game],” Johnson said. “We have to do . . . [whatever it takes] to win.”
