Nine student council candidates read speeches to the 9th, 10th, and 11th graders today in the HS auditorium, trying to secure their vote in the upcoming election to be held tomorrow and Friday.

Maggie Richie, the current student council president, led the campaign by introducing the candidates. The 2022-2023 student council candidates are:

• Brooke Phillips

Parliamentarian

• Mason Carlow
• Mackenzie Roy

Reporter

• Abby Baggett
• Ely Bates

Historian

• Rylan Barid

Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will receive a link to a google form tomorrow from their English teachers. The voting will close Friday afternoon.
